A central and unique feature of the Chelsea Language Academy is its recognition that most students need to be made to feel comfortable in using English in a group environment. The main program above incorporates shyness reduction as a common element of all teachers' classes. However, additional training in shyness reduction is available for students who want it.

Intensive TOEIC / IELTS classes
All regular classes incorporate elements that help students prepare for these tests. However, intensive supplementary classes are available on Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Special Services Available
University application/essay editing and counseling - $100 /hr (minimum 2 hours)
Excellent students may receive reference letters for university/company admission - $50
Free use of empty classrooms for study group sessions after class
Limousine pick-up from airport - $100 if traveling alone or $65 each if traveling in groups of 2 or more
Medical Insurance can be arranged through the school from $2 per day plus a $20 administration fee.
