Our Unique Refund Policy
Chelsea tries to keep its students by offering high quality and friendly language instruction and activities. It does not do so by trapping students with unreasonable contracts or cancellation penalties as other schools often do. Our refund policy is simple and uniquely generous:
100% of unused tuition may be deferred/credited to a later period of study (with no expiration date). Alternatively, students may receive a 50% refund on unused tuition amounts, less registration fees.
In unusual cases where a student cannot obtain a visa/study permit, for which a letter of acceptance from Chelsea has been used, 100% of tuition paid (either directly or via an agency) will be refunded, less registration fees.
For legal reasons, students who have received a letter of acceptance to obtain a study permit cannot be given a refund.
Students who registered through an independent education agent should seek refunds through that agency.
There is a mandatory refund waiting period of 6 weeks to discourage fraud and other abuses of these policies.
